Route 1: SoftApp AD

For Synchronization with Office 365

- Azure AD synchronization user created and sent data to support@softapp-distribution.com
  - Password never expires
  - Strong password with at least 16 characters
  - Has the role "Global Administrator"

Route 2: External Active Directory

Important

During the creation of a Trust you need a SoftApp engineer to enter internal VO365 data. Make sure there is a clear agreement between you and the SoftApp engineer.

Functional level of the domain controller at your customer is at least at the level of Windows 2003 ( more information )
The customer's environment is connected to Office 365 and uses Skype for Business online
AADSYNC / DIRSYNC is set up and synchronized with the Azure AD
A person has been appointed who maintains contact with SoftApp distribution who is able to perform the following tasks:
- Create a VPN connection
- Set up a trust
- Enter DNS changes
The local IP addresses of the Domain Controllers are not in the following subnets
- 192.168.184.0/24
- 192.168.229.0/24
