Certificate notifcation on login

Problem

When you log in for the first time, you will receive a notification asking you to accept a certificate. Because there is a CNAME record on lyncdiscover.contoso.com to lyncdiscover.softapp-distribution.com a message will be displayed. This notification can be avoided by requesting an additional sign-in certificate. For this, contact sales@softapp-distribution.com.

Solution

  • Check the 'always thrust' or 'Always trust server and do not show window' checkbox and press 'Connect'   

  • Change the CNAME record for lyncdiscover.domain.com to a A record pointing to 95.211.37.66
