Client status reverts to busy or available

Problem

The client keeps reverting to busy after a call.

Solutions

Problem with calendar synchronization.

  1. Open the client

  2. Go to options

  3. Uncheck "Update my presence based on my calendar information"




Problem with jabra headsets

Disable Synchronize presence option in settings.



Problem with Plantronics headsets.

Confirmed - the Plantronics Hub software has a setting called "Aware for Microsoft", which causes the problem. It is designed for setting status to Busy when you are on the phone, but it doesn't revert correctly.

Set to "Off" to resolve!



Other solution

Use the Bridge RG available software to keep your status to available.
