Data storage

SoftApp-distribution stores backend information in a combination of SQL servers. Passwords are not stored in the database and are immediately transferred to the Active Directory servers (if possible).

Data connection

We follow the guidelines below to secure your portal experience

• The portal has for each customer only one account on set up. This is the defaul administrator account that is bound to a specific user within your organization. Only SoftApp-distribution is able to view this top-level accounts. Accounts that are not top-level can be viewed by the accounts that are is a parent to (hierarchical).

• All administrator references are secured through a HTTPS connection upon with a certificate provided by Let's Encrypt.

• All actions done by the administrator (or any other portal user)  are logged within the application. Changes are stored and available for the administrator.

• The portal uses Role Based Access Administration to secure access. All parts of the portal are divided in roles which can be granted per-user.
