Synchronization
The tool syncs up the Active directory every 30 minutes. I retrieves the objects from the specified AD targets (groups / ou / SamAccountName). Those objects will be synced based on the applied import template settings.
If an object is moved from the specified target location it will be disabled and revoked access from our systems. If the object does not exist anymore in the AD it will remove the object from our system.
Attributen
The table below shows the attributes that are synchronized to the Active Directory of SoftApp-distribution. The attributes with a * are required and can not be disabled for syncing through Import Templates.

Synchronisation options
It is possible to synchronise users and groups based the following search parameters:
Groups:
- SamAccountName
- OrganizationalUnit location
Users:
- Security Group / Distribution Group members
- OrganizationalUnit location
OrganizationalUnits can be searched on base level, one-sub dir and recursive. This is specified as the target depth
Import Templates
Import templates are used to specify the parameters required for importing users. Various options can be set for a import template.
- Generate Skype for Business address from
- Firstname.Lastname
- Firstname
- Lastname
- UPN user part
- Mail user part
- SamAccountName
- Skype for Business domain name for user
- Same as user principal name
- Selected domain name attached to account
- Skype for business status
- Enterprise Voice status
- Import phone numbers to PSTN number
- Enable voicemail
- Disable Audio/Video
- Enable Remote Call control
- Of the non-required attributes of the AD user object can be decided to:
- Keep the current synced parameter
- Edit/Update the attributes
- Clear the attributes (not syncing and erasing stored values).
- All skype for business policies can be applied to a Import Template.
