For complete integration with the VO365 environment, it is convenient that VO365 can set the ProxyAddress users variably with the VO365 Skype for Business SIP address for objects within your Active Directory. Figure 4-1 shows where you can find this in your Active Directory. This update is performed by the VO365 environment as a scheduled task. To update this variable, the VO365 administrator account must have permissions to update this object within this forest. Therefore, the VO365 Administrator account must have write permissions within the forest from you to adjust this value. After setting up the Trust, only authentication has been made possible.


Important: This step does not require the delegate user to have rights to modify the user! If these rights are not granted, there is no functionality when presenting powerpoint presentation. The Skype environment will function without this change. However, rights must be granted to read the AD.

You must then manually set the following values.

  • msRTCSIP-DeploymentLocator » SRV:
  • msRTCSIP-UserEnabled »TRUE

  1. On the local domain controller you open the Active Directory Users and Computers tool. 

  2. Right click on your top level domain and select Delegate Control ... 
     

  3. Click Next 
     

  4. Click on Add 
     

  5. Add Administrator from the softapp-distribution.com location 
     

  6. Click OK 
     

  7. Click Next 

  8. Select ' Create, delete, and manage user accounts ' check box and then click Next . 
     

  9. Click Finish .
