- Start the Skype for Business application
- Click 'load contacts' in the contact migratorVerify that the Skype for Business client is running
- An error will be displayed on the bottom of the main page if contacts are loaded without a Skype for Business client connection
- Click on 'options'
- Click on 'read contacts'
- Select the location to read the contacts from

- From file: contacts will be read from a CSV file
- From Skype for Business: contacts will be read from the skype for business client
