Step 1: Link Office 365

To synchronize the users from the SoftApp AD to Azure AD (office 365) we use a global administrator account. This allows the users to be replicated to Office 365.

Create user

Create a user in office 365 with the following information.

• Name: dirsync

• Password: choose a password or have one generated

  • Automatic generation: Make sure that you log in to the account once to change the password and make it static.

  • I want to create the password: Use a generator to create a random password ( https://www.random.org/passwords/ )

• Roles: Main administrator

• Licenses: None (this user does not need licenses because no use of software is made).
