In some cases, Cache can affect data from the Skype for Business client working. If issues arise with the client (mainly EWS and login) it is always wise to get the cache data from the client. You can do this by deleting your profile in Skype for Business.

  1. Make sure the Skype for Business client is closed (not in the system tray).
  2. Open Windows Explorer
  3. Go to
    1. Lync 2013
      % localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync

    2. Skype for Business
      % localappdata%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync

  4. Delete the folder with your Skype for Business login username in it.
